GateMate FPGAs

The company Cologne Chip AG in Köln, Germany, is the only company that uses yosys as the only synthesiz tool. Though for place&route it uses its own binary console application which is only available for Linux and Windows.

Though a contact recently confirmed me that it will move to the open source tool NextPnR as well and that there will be a beta version around Q4/2024 or Q1/2025.

Hopefully they will publish it on Github so macOS users would benefit as well.
